Smiling Sink
by: Bill Landfair

This stoneware sink is made by my hands,

Not somewhere far distant or from foreign lands.

Sturdy it is, of that many vouch,

No grumps have I heard, not even a grouch!

The fixtures will fit both faucet and drain,

So find a good plumber and he will not complain.

Soon you'll be smiling when your project is done,

What are you waiting for,
Let's get on with the fun!
Bill Landfair has been a full-time production potter for 30 years starting in 1981, and for several years (in New Hampshire as owner of Granite Lake Pottery) had a crew of over 20 people working under him, producing and selling over $500,000.00 dollars worth of pottery a year. During those years Bill maintained his throwing skills, and was making all of the sinks sold in the business.

Bill has always loved the West. Eventually he decided to move to Idaho and established Raft River Pottery.

Bill has sold his pottery in the Boise Farmers Market, the Wood River Farmers Market in Sun Valley, and last year (2009)sold his hand thrown stoneware in the Idaho Falls Farmers Market every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Starting April 26th and continuing through October 25th,
